fAlcon HISTORY
Falcon Performance Shocks stem from nearly six decades of Jeep and off-road experience. MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts COmpany) got its start as a distributor of Jeep parts and accessories in the 1950s followed by TeraFlex in 1996 as the first company to engineer a lift kit for the TJ Jeep Wrangler’s coil spring suspension. Over the years, we have developed innovative products that deliver performance exceeding customer expectations.
Historically, universal shock absorbers and steering stabilizers have been adapted to fit many applications with minimal tuning. Falcon rewrites the book on damper development. Our new shock absorbers and steering stabilizers were engineered to meet the unique requirements of the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Falcon engineers went back to the drawing board to engineer shock absorbers properly matched to our lift coil springs resulting in the premium Falcon Performance Shocks brand. Built from the ground up with a focus on fitment and function, Falcon’s corner-specific Series 3 Piggyback and Series 2 Monotube shock absorbers and Wrangler-specific Nexus EF 2 steering stabilizers deliver the best damping characteristics possible.
Benefits include increased stability, improved ride quality, and comfort for daily driven vehicles as well as race-inspired performance, handling, and stability for off-road rigs. Falcon Jeep shock absorbers will significantly increase the performance of any stock or lifted rig.
After tackling the Wrangler/Gladiator market, we set our sights on the truck and SUV market. Our vehicle-specific Falcon Sport and Sport Tow/Haul shock systems have been tuned to work with the factory linear rate coil springs and/or rear leaf springs (where applicable). Like our Wrangler shocks, these new truck and SUV shock systems set the benchmark for the on-road and off-road market as well as for the work and tow/haul crowd.
